Clinical Supervision

A space to reflect, develop and grow in your professional practice

Clinical supervision is an important part of safe, effective and compassionate practice. Whether you are a nurse, therapist or mental health practitioner, having dedicated time to reflect on your work can support your confidence, professional development and wellbeing.

I’m Lynsey, a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, EMDR Therapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse, with over 20 years’ experience working with children and young people. I also hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision and work in a clinical leadership role within CAMHS.

I understand the rewards and challenges of working in mental health care. My approach to supervision is collaborative, supportive and reflective, offering a confidential professional space to explore challenges, consider different perspectives and strengthen your clinical practice.

Who is supervision for?

I offer clinical supervision for:

  • Nurses seeking professional reflection and supervision to support their practice and NMC revalidation.

  • Therapists looking to reflect on their clinical work, therapeutic relationships and professional development.

  • Mental health practitioners supporting children, young people and families.

What can we explore together?

Supervision can provide space to reflect on:

  • Clinical decision-making, risk and safeguarding.

  • Therapeutic approaches, including CBT and EMDR where appropriate to my competence and supervisory remit.

  • Complex presentations and challenges in clinical practice.

  • Professional boundaries, ethical dilemmas and accountability.

  • Confidence, resilience, wellbeing and professional development.

  • Learning, reflection and evidence to support ongoing professional development.

My approach to supervision

I aim to create a supportive, non-judgemental environment where you can reflect openly, explore uncertainty and learn from experience. Supervision is tailored to your role, individual needs and professional responsibilities, with a shared focus on safe, ethical and effective practice.
